AWS Math Teacher Emily Weston Writes about Flipped Learning for EdCircuit

To honor the 10th anniversary of flipped learning, Emily Weston, Annie Wright Upper School for Girls math instructor, authored an article, Flipped Learning: 10 Years in the Making, for EdCircuit, an online collection of thought leaders in education business, practice, policy, and innovation. The article, published in December 2017, shares Ms. Weston's four tips for a successful flipped classroom model.

Ms. Weston joined Annie Wright Schools in 2007. She earned a BA in Advertising and Mass Communications from the University of Colorado-Boulder and an MA in Education from Pacific Lutheran University. Emily believes that students succeed in math when they are engaged daily in the classroom and work in cooperative small groups. She has adopted the flipped model in her classroom, allowing her more time to work one-on-one with every student, every day.
